Why this matters

What is assetlinks.json?
The file at https://your-domain/.well-known/assetlinks.json that proves your app may handle your domain's links. Without it (or with a broken deployment), users get a chooser dialog instead of opening straight into your app.
Which fingerprints do I list?
Every cert that signs user-facing builds: debug (for testing), release/upload, and the Play App Signing cert from Play Console → Setup → App integrity. The generator supports multiple fingerprints in one statement.
My file looks right but verification fails — why?
