Release Notes Assistant: Say What Actually Changed

Paste your rough bullets — “fixed crash on export”, “added dark mode” — and get a formatted, benefit-framed entry sized to Play Console's display limit. Simple form-to-text: no templates, no uploads.

Formatted entry (59/500)

What's new:
• Fixed the crash on export.
• Added dark mode.

Why this matters

Release notes are the smallest surface that still moves trust: specific notes get updates installed, generic ones get ignored. The full framing is in our release notes post — this tool is that post's one-click version.

Frequently asked questions

Why not just write “bug fixes and performance improvements”?

It's compliant but invisible: users skip the update and reviewers learn nothing. Naming one concrete change (“Fixed export crash”, “Added dark mode”) keeps the “what actually changed” framing that earns updates.

How long should release notes be?

Play Console truncates long entries on small screens. Set the character target (default 500) and the tool trims whole bullets first, then hard-truncates — always telling you what was cut.

What do I get to download?

Formatted release-notes text ready to paste into Play Console's release notes field, plus copy and download buttons. Free — no asset pipeline involved.
