How the Sudoku solver works
Tap any cell and use the number pad to enter givens, then choose Hint to reveal a single cell or Solve all for the finished grid. The engine combines constraint propagation with backtracking and MRV cell ordering, so even hard puzzles solve in milliseconds — entirely in your browser, with nothing uploaded.

Invalid puzzles get a clear explanation instead of a crash: conflicting givens are flagged, impossible grids report “no solution,” and grids with more than one solution are called out as invalid Sudokus. In play mode every puzzle is generated with a proven unique solution at Easy, Medium, or Hard, with pencil marks, undo and redo, toggleable error highlighting, and a timer. Tips: fill naked singles first, use pencil marks in only two candidate cells, and turn error highlighting off once you can spot conflicts yourself.
