How the Wordle helper works

Type each of your guesses and tap the tiles to match their colors: green for the right letter in the right spot, yellow for the right letter in the wrong spot, gray for letters that are not in the word. The helper filters a built-in 5-letter list down to the remaining candidates, most common first, and suggests the guess that covers the most leftover letters — the fastest way to shrink the field.

Repeated letters are handled properly: a gray tile for a letter that is green or yellow elsewhere limits how many times that letter appears instead of banning it. If the list ever empties, one of your colors is off — re-check yellows first, since misremembered positions are the usual culprit. This is a generic helper for any 5-letter guessing game and references no specific puzzle or daily answer. Everything runs offline in your browser: no signup, no uploads, no waiting. Tips: open with a vowel-heavy guess, trust the suggested guess when the list is long, and switch to guessing the answer directly once fewer than ten candidates remain.
